Frequently asked questions
Can I open password-protected PDFs?
Encrypted PDFs are detected, and the viewer shows a notice. Removing a password is not supported.
Can I search text inside the PDF?
Yes. Use the search button in the toolbar. Search works for PDFs that contain real text. Scanned PDFs that are only images have no searchable text.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The PDF is rendered by PDF.js inside your browser and never leaves your device.
